PRINTMAKING
Courtney Coriell
A large flat bed press, screen-print press and a darkroom make for a great printing studio.Our classes cover screenprint, linocut, woodcut, monoprints and etching. Students receive individualized instruction and have acess to the faclity during open studio hours.
PAINTING/DRAWING

Work in any painting or drawing medium. Develop your skills while being a member of the creative community. Receive personalized instruction and learn materials, composition, color theory as well as how to let your own creative voice come through in your artwork.
PHOTOGRAPHY Leslie Doyle
Offering both Digital and B&W, our photography courses help you understand how to use your camera, enhance your creative eye and explore the art of photography. Beyond the darkroom and intro to digital we also offer advanced creative photography.
CERAMICS Alex Lederer
Hand building techniques, wheel throwing, glazing and decorating your pieces are all explored in ceramic class.The instruction is suited for the beginning student to the experienced. Open studio hours are available for all Spot5 students to continue work on their own.
YOUTH EDUCATION ............................................................................
Teens seeking entrance into Governors Scholars Program, High School Art Programs and University Programs get assistance with their portfolios from our instructors. Students learn what pieces need to be in their portfolios, finish those pieces with teachers instruction and are prepared for review days. Please allow ample time for your teen to fullfill their entrance requirements.
