All classes accommodate skill levels from beginners to advanced; our small class size ensures individual guidance.

Registration fees include firing time. Clay and tools are available for purchase at the studio for a discount. Recycling used clay is encouraged.

Open Studio hours are provided for enrolled students who wish to work independently and / or practice what they have learned.

Our ceramics studio features Shimpo VL Whisper 1/2 hp direct drive pottery wheels. Storage space is available for student works in progress.

Six week class. Whether you're a beginner or have some experience, you'll learn clay in a relaxing, supportive environment where creativity is encouraged and nurtured. The class covers the wheel throwing from the basic methods through more advanced throwing and glazing techniques. Class size is limited - please call for space availability. Clay and tools available for purchase.

No required supply lists for the beginning student.

This 6 week introductory class is for those individuals who have never taken a pottery class before or need a refresher class. Focus will be on the basics of hand building, pinch, coil, slab and surface treatment. Students can also learn the basics of wheelthrowing! This class is a great way to get your hands into clay.

Independent study allows students free access to the ceramics studio for three hours on Tuesday nights and all other open studio hours for non-instructional work. It is a great option for those who require little or no instruction but would like access to a studio with an active arts community. Registration for this class is limited to students with at least a moderate degree of experience. Students will be responsible for clean up. Clay and glazing materials are available for purchase at Clifton Art Supply at a discount.
