Registration fees cover firing and 25# of clay unless otherwise noted. Recycling used clay is encouraged. Additional clay may be purchased at Clifton Art Supply for a discounted rate.
Open Studio hours are provided for enrolled students who wish to work independently and / or practice what they have learned. Ceramics & Pottery Facilities Our ceramics

wheels. Storage space is available for student works in progress.

Whether you're a beginner or have some experience, you'll learn clay in a relaxing, supportive environment where creativity is encouraged and nurtured. Both hand building and wheel throwing will be taught. The class covers the basics of pinching, coiling, slab work, throwing, and glazing. Class size is limited - please call for space availability.

This 6 week introductory class is for those individuals who have never taken a pottery class before or need a refresher class. Focus will be on the basics of hand building, wheel throwing and surface treatment. Class fee includes 25# of clay and all tools are provided. There is a lot of material covered in this short class. It is a great way to get your hands into clay.

Independent study allows students free access to the ceramics studio for three hours on Thursday nights and all other open studio hours for non-instructional work. It is a great option for those who require little or no instruction but would like access to a studio with an active arts community. Registration for this class is limited to students with at least a moderate degree of experience. Students will be responsible for clean up. Clay and glazing materials are available for purchase at Clifton Art Supply at a discount.

Parent - Child Clay Class Instructor - Greg Penner
Parent and child (ages 8 and up) team up to have an unforgettable pottery experience. Parents participate in this 4 week class with their child, or children, to build unique pieces, to share an enriching learning experience, and to create a lasting memory together. Class is limited to 4 children and 3 adults. All materials are included. Special arrangements may be made for larger groups or families at additional cost.
