Studio Painting & Drawing

Studio classes offer ongoing instruction in painting, drawing or mixed media. Teaching is done at the easel and students learn through 'hands-on' experience under the direction of the instructor. Because teaching is tailored to the individual student, studio classes are suitable for beginners and more advanced students alike. Oil and acrylic paints are the most popular media, but students can work in watercolor, pastels, charcoal or a variety of others. Class size is limited to 10 students. Contact us if you have specific questions. • No required supply lists for the beginning student. • Initial 8-week enrollment. • Open registration. • New students begin with a private lesson. • Students can work in a variety of materials. • Up to 15 hours per week of independent studio beyond your class time • Gallery space and web pages for displaying student original work. • Ongoing art enrichment events.
