Printmaking at Spot 5 allows you to explore traditional and contemporary techniques of printmaking, including linocut, wood block, monotype, and screen printing.
In this six-week class, students will use basic design principles to and create finished wood block and linocut prints. The use of layering, registration and composition will be employed to create successful prints and build a knowledge of printmaking technique.
Basic tools and materials will be supplied, however a modest materials purchase will be necessary.
