Youth & Teen Studio Art Classes Michelle Amos
Studio Art classes accomodate a wide range of artistic styles, media and subject matter. For the most part, these classes use paint and drawing mediums to instruct in the fundamental elements and principles of art, however they do branch off into fiber, sculpture, found object, and mixed-media depending on the class, the age group and the project.
We reference the Kentucky Department of Education's Core Content for Arts
and Humanities for the age groups k-5, 6-8, and 9-12. Mainly, we strive to teach kids an appreciation for art, confidence in their own creativity, and solid funamentals that will allow them to explore their own artistic visions.
