Spot 5 Art Studio and Clifton Art Supply are located at 2044 Frankfort Avenue in an historic building that originally housed the Clifton Market.
Co-Owners Laurie Blayney and Jeff Freeman along with their staff have created an art supply store, gallery, and teaching studio for painting and drawing, ceramics, photography, printmaking and various workshops all under one roof.
Clifton Art Supply is locally owned and run by visual artists. In addition to what one would expect to find at an art supply, CAS offers clay and raw materials, custom canvas, damage repair on paintings and some 'exclusive to Louisville' lines - such as Daniel Smith Watercolors and Louvre Oils.
Prices are kept below list and discounts to professional artists, teachers and students are offered. Special orders are processed in a few days with no extra charge.
